Okay this was really depressing to make but it was for my Visual Imaging class. we had to create a "political art piece" on any topic that was important to us. I chose Animal Cruelty. Most people for their medium chose to make a poster or video but since my teacher offered me 3 pounds of super sculpy I decided to make a sculpture. However come to find out most of the clay was too hard to do much with xD SO I spent an hour softening and flattening out a piece for the base
 A WHOLE HOUR!! Most everything else was done with some sculpy 3 clay she gave me and some foil/wire armatures. But anyway I hope I get an A.... This has 8 pieces in it - Base with broken buildings, mutilated dog, anorexic cat, and a bunch of nonsense filler garbage to fit the mood like a trash bag, pop can, crate, empty food bowl, and a tire. Lots of time was put into creating this. well over 10 hours. and to me thats a lot of time for one assignment xD I was able to finish it though within 3 or 4 days. I know the paint job isn't PERFECT but I was really going for a toned down depressing look so I stuck it dull colors and messy textures. The dilapidated shack looks even more excellent that I thought it would. And now that I can see the wire you put around the top, it makes it feel like the animals are prisoners. The coloring on the floor looks awesome, too! :]
